At the Shotokan Karate Association of New Zealand we aim to provide men, women and children of all ages physical fitness and self defence skills through the practice of Karate.

 

Our classes also place a great deal of emphasis on sports Karate for individuals wishing to take part in sports Karate tournaments. SKANZ can provide the best training system that is focused on representing NZ in world class competitions. We deem ourself as the best Shotokan Karate style in NZ. We have qualified instructors who are experienced at international and national level.

 

We are a member of Yamamura Karate International and affiliated to the NZ karate national body - UNZKO (Union of NZ Karate Organisation).
